sun-dried figs

Kandahar

Our sun-dried figs grow in the leafy orchards of Kandahar province in the south of Afghanistan. Come harvest time in August, these bright-green figs are picked dried multiple times in a process that produces the unique, disc-shaped dried fruits that we bring to you. Our sun-dried figs have an exterior that is dry to the touch, and a chewy, sweet center with warm notes of bourbon and brown sugar.
