sweet apricot kernels

Bamyan

Our sweet apricot kernels are cultivated in two districts of Bamyan: Sayghan and Kahmard. In August, the fresh apricots dry on trees and are split open in September to collect the sweet apricot kernels. This produces sweet apricot kernels with a clean, crisp crunch and delicate sweetness reminiscent of marzipan, enhanced by a touch of Afghan salt and the warmth from light roasting.

ZIBA NUTS AND DRIED FRUITS ARE NUTRIENT-DENSE, SUSTAINABLY GROWN, AND SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE.

By working directly with family farms and village cooperatives to source true heirloom fruit and nut varieties, Ziba presents only the highest-quality agricultural products, many of which are grown wild.
