heirloom almonds – gurbandi

Logar

Our Gurbandi almonds are grow in the Logar province in eastern Afghanistan. An heirloom variety handed down for generations, these almonds are grown using traditional farming techniques. The almond trees flourish under the region’s unique climate, reaching their peak in August when the almond fruits are carefully harvested. Gurbandi almonds have a delicate, honey-like flavor and their texture is crisp rather than crunchy.
